NAPA’s 2022 Class of Academy Fellows to Include NACA Members

The National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) announced 35 leaders in the field of public administration selected for the 2022 Class of Academy Fellows, including three NACA members. Fellows are public managers and scholars, business executives and labor leaders, current and former cabinet officers, members of Congress, governors, mayors, state legislators, and diplomats.

“Our distinguished Academy Fellows are nationally recognized and respected for their expertise in the field of public administration and the members of the Fellows Class of 2022 are no exception,” said Terry Gerton, President and CEO of the Academy. “We proudly welcome this outstanding new class of Fellows that will help advance the Academy vision—a just, fair, and inclusive government that strengthens communities and protects democracy.”

Congratulations to these NACA members and new Academy Fellows:

  • Shannon Flanagan-Watson, Deputy County Manager, County of Arlington, Virginia

  • Susan Muranishi, County Administrator, County of Alameda, California

  • Stacy Rodgers, County Administrative Officer, Baltimore County Government, Maryland
